d16 in oem form. if you're a b guy, then B18C1 (gsr), but i wouldnt push the # of PSI you run. then again, with boost, it's always a good idea to sleeve the block...

This one is an obvious answer.... the k-series.
A stock K24 bottom end with a k20 head on a gt30 hit around 700 in stock form before blowing a pee sized hole in cylinder 3 while pushing it further on the dyno. I am a beleiver in K series engine, but can definately be out of budget for some people.

the answers to this question are so subjective, do you prefer a large displacement and lots of torque or are you good with little displacement on small torque... High end would be a B20 bottom end with B16 type R head or for smaller displacement go with a B16 withe type r head. both are proven to be performers that display durability

I call on this one. Your not going to make 700hp with a 52lb/min turbo. The turbo simply doesn't flow enough air for that kind of power.

hahahahhahahahahahahhahahahha 700 hp stock....ahahahah what happeneds to the valve springs at that boost level... they would float the valves and youd be lucky to rev the car past 3000 rpm lol!!!!!
K20 .. if this were the case ... im not even gonna get into it....

I saw the k20 that did that. there is a vidoe floating around, they were basically seeing how much they could get out before it blew and they ended up getting like 42psi and like 680whp or something rediculous.
