A/C in a 92 EG

My friend and I want to dismandle the a/c in his EG (Y7) cause we are putting a front mount on the car. What is involved in taking apart in a/c in the car? Are we gonna need any special tools? Is there anything we need to know before we attempt this task lol?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dion

Get the helms manual for your vehicle and look under Cooling section. You will find all the components associated with the a/c system. I just remove my a/c from my 94 h/b and it was easy. All you need are the common tools like wrenches, ratchet, sockets, srew drivers, jack and stands, friend, and a couple of beer. Do a search as well, this will get you familiarize with your engine.

Good Luck guys!!

you should be able to fit a front mount without removing the a/c. with the nasty humidity and heat these days id keep your a/c.
