after i got cold air intake installed, basically a huge tube connected to the cone filter, i've had several problems with the car, i just paid 700 to get the spark plugs replaced on the camaro, and now it's acting up again, vibrating, shaking, hearing popping sounds in the engine and exhaust, just wondering if the CAI has anything to do with it ? maybe installed incorrectly? i'll put up a picture of the CAI soon, so u guys can maybe see any problems, thnx guys!

you can check the air flow sensor first if there is a aid flow sensor in your intake pipe. please corect me if i am wrong .

Only thing i would think would be all intake inlet tube sensors are not correctly hooked up or as some cars are set now...YOUR INTAKE TEMPERATURE is too hot...short ram intakes make noise most of the time and worsen performance...

I"ll agree with 79cam..

It doesn't sound like you have a heatshield around your intake so it's not CAI but WAI.

2 things mentioned already I"d check is MAF sensor and IAT sensor. I"m not sure if it's the same on your car or not.. but there should be a resistance/ohms reading at certain temp.

This can be done at ambient temperature, or by heating water or cooling water, immersing the sensor, and checking it. Use another thermometer to insure proper water temperature. Generally, if it reads correctly at a single known value, the sensor is good:

From this chart, it's easy to see that these sensors will read colder if the sensor is disconnected (higher resistance). Corrosion can have the same effect for the IAT sensor.

Does your car exhibit the same issue when idle? Before/after warm up? If so.. disconnect the MAF sensor and sees if it stays the same.. if so, it's your MAF sensor.

EDIT: Yes, no Bosch.. GM's don't like them.. either Delco or NGK <-- which makes plugs for Delco ( rebadged )
