im pretty sure on honda the crack position sensor is located in the dizzy

unbelivable.........first of all if your mechanic told you your crank sensor is in the distibutor...then you need a new mechanic.

i havent worked on one of those for awhile now but im pretty sure it doesnt even have crank sensor, it only has CAM sensor which would be in the distributor picking up its signal from the CAM.

also i belive in first thread which was over 2 weeks ago i asked you if the engine light was on. so why would you not mention this, instead waist time and drag this thing on.

bottom line, just replace the whole distributor(used or re-built) it will be cheaper on labor than taking the the old one apart where everything in it will be seized and corroded. also if you just replace the sensor then next week its going to be the coil or the module and you'll be back here again asking questions for 2 weeks.

good luck i hope it fixes the problem

Thank you. The engine light has never been on. Only when they checked for the flashes and it showed 4... anywho, I will change the distributor.
I really appreciate everyones replies and I will let you know of the result.

It Ended Up Beeing The Distributor. I Got A New One In There And Works Like A Charm With The Vtec.
