i know the ZC-sohc-vtec-OBD2 is the japanese version and would work with my 96 civic..

there are two other engines i need to know about

a site ive been looking at (www.toykomotorimports.com) is showing a

JDM D15-SOHC-Vtec_OBD2 engine that would also work in my car

is this another japanese version of the D16Y8( the 96-00 civic model)

unless im wrong, i don't believe there was a 1.5 sohc vtec motor from a 96-00, (obd2). the only 1.5 vtec I know is the 92-95 obd1 motor, which if u put a zc block on is worth while, but if ur doin a swap and lookin for a motor for a civic deffinitly go for a big motor, no replacement for displacement. so an integra 1.8 (any year above 92) is a good choice.

oh and if u want info on the zc with 1.5 vtec head just ask, my friend has one and its faster than civtegra90's civic. (not bashin the civtegra tho)
