b18a are good at around 140 @ 6300 rpm, 121 lb/ft @ 5200 rpm it will give u some good "pep"! and are pretty cheap! and the b16a will give you some "pep" both of thoughs are pretty cheap. its if u know how to do it or get some one you know to do it way cheaper

ok, so the easiest, would be a b16, but it has low torque, but if u can get your hands on a b18b from a 94-95 integra (obd1 like ur car) u will get alot more torque for the money, so bang for buck i would do that, and it would be an easy install. I could easily give you a how 2 guide.

also look at this thread, its my buddy's 89 civ, (not much diff.) with the obd0 integra engine (b18a1) in it. (b18b1 is obd1 and would work well with ur car!)

hey Jeff, my buddy has a 94 si coupe and is wondering what he can put in it for a reasonable price but also he doesnt want to lose to me after he does the swap. he was thinkin B16 cause its cheap but for how much his cars wieghs (2600lbs) it would be pointless, how fast does ur car go, any 1/4 mile times with it yet? and around how much did the swap cost you?
