Emissions problem

by law they are supposed to do a visual inspection. look for a cat, o2, egr, ais, yada yada yada. a car is not supposed to be tested unless it has all of the factory emissions control systems fully intact. if anything is missing or disconnected that is a automatic fail. I had my inspectors liscence, thats how i know what the procedure is. the hot rod class is only ment for vehicles with a motor swap ( to a motor that was not available in that chassis from the factory) Not for turbo cars or modified cars. if the shop ever gets caught doing a test under hot rod for a vehicle with the stock motor they will more than likely get a fine and the tech will loose his inspection lic.

ive been askin around turns out i know a guy that knows a guy kinda deal witch is good for now but i still want that cat....the smell gets brutal after like a nice highway drive or sumthin plus its gonna cost lots of $$$

if you spend the little extra money to get a nice high flow you wont have the power loss. annnd, the cops wont rape you if they pull you over for a weird smell. once you sign the papers to buy a tuner car.. you get a reputation..
