HID Conversion Lights...

Hi,

I'm thinking about purchasing a set of HID conversion lights for my new car, a '08 Civic Si Sedan.

1. What are my best options out there?
2. What are the ranges in price?
3. Have there been any problems associated with HID conversion kits?

Thanks.

1. I beleive its ARP that makes all stock lights for HONDA, and they have HID kits, they offer best fit although others arent bad either. get it off ebay, anywhere else would be sum jacked up $$$
2. I got HID's with halos for 170 and it ranges from 120 to 300.
3. and ya theres probs...shorts & improper wiring(u gotta be a retard) moslty other then that product defect or rough handling during shipping...

you could still get hid but you can allways get the real Germany made ones and if you get pulled over just say they were stock.

you should get some projectors to make sure that you do not blind other people. since you got stock housing, there are reflectors around the bulb that cause the light beams to go crazy. if you have projectors [like me] its much more controlled and i've adjusted them so that i dont blind people and yet i still get a lot of light output in the distance.
also i cheaped out on the HID's i got a set of kijiji for 120$ and surprisingly have not had any troubles for the past 2 months.

Did your civic come with HID projector lenses? Because without the lenses you are going to blind on coming traffic and if your unlucky like me u will blind an OPP and get pulled over. After getting pulled over I did a complete BMW M3 projector retrofit into my 97 accord EXR coupe and it looked amazing.
