yeah that would be ideal , but like said before you need to have a set goal in mind. Alot of poeple ask questions like this but there are too many variables for us to consider your decision. What is your goal?

no the heads are a little different.

K20/K24 Frankie would be insane.
Theres one in the latest HondaTuning Magazine,
slightly bored to 2.6 litres and he's putting down
309 hp & 231 ft/lbs of torque.

hes also getting no traction. thats the problem with the kseries motors

from what ive been reading if you want a dyno queen go K
ifu want a car to race b is still where its at

and for the price u pay for a K u can get such a better b series. its just not worth it man 10gs to have 180whp.

ya i know what your saying, but ive have 4 b engine's already but that was like 4 years ago. now i see all this new k stuff and i want to get back into it. i wont have to spend 10g's because i'll be doing it myself i just need to find a good deal on a motor and parts.

im not to concerned about traction, im not going to be drag racing on the street with street tires. i just want big power so i can go fast at higher speeds. i used to have a gsr on 175 shot of nos and its like driving on ice 1st and 2nd gear

i would say go k24 bottom with the k2o head would be the best to with if your going k seies but if you dont want to do the frankie then go k20 and get the k pro comp for it you will be running 250 to the wheels with an intake and exhaust, my buddy just finished doing the k20 swap and he got the kpro and this thing is nuts but the k pro is 1500 on top of the swap but i think is the best way to go

you have to be specific on the K24 bottom end to find your compression ratio for your paticular goals.

if you want big power on a cheap budget, k20 + boost. there was this vid which showed it handling up to, what, 42psi was it, on stock sleeves (or was it stock bottom end?). the k20/k24 will give you more power in the long run, but you gotta sleeve the k24 block and build it.

that was a stock k24/k20 on a gt35r tuned by stoopid. That is one of the first guys to push the k in stock form before blowing a pee sized hole in the block. Even at that they say it could have been prevented as they were having issues at the time aswell. The owner had a smile on his face when the engine popped.
