Maintainence light

Hey guys i'm new to this forum! I was wondering if anyone knew a good mechanic around downtown toronto. I've been looking, but had no luck and I know it's so hard to find a good one. My maintainence light keeps popping up on my 98 accord I4 and I changed oil, plugs, wires, and it still keeps coming on, but it's running fine! Please hit me back I would be grateful

Brian

Did you change your air filter? Could also be fuel filter, O2 sensors, PCV valve, etc.

sometimes the "maintenance required" light comes on by itself at a set number of km

mine came on at 150 000 km, i think the car wants me to change it's timing belt

anyways, there is a way to reset it, your mechanic should know how

you could always take it to a shop in my own experience you have to find a garage that you trust yourself, a friends place or a friend of a friends place always ends up screwing you over. But youll find one in the end, but if ur really looking for one I can recommend you the place I goto but no guarantees.

to replace the maintence light in a accord you have to hold the trip rest button I think then while holding the button turn the ignition on then off... I am pretty sure its this sequence but it will blink then shut off..
