obd-0 ecu

i was up at shannonville running my car and got chattin to this guy bout how he has an ls in a obd-0 civic and hes usin the pm6 ecu and revs it out to 7200, said it runs 14.7 or so (my best was 15.2) with full exhaust and other minor mods. so i fiqured what the hell, ill give it a try when i get home. so i pop in the 89 si puter on my 91 ls motor and let er rip. didnt really seem much faster if at all and the motor really weazes up at 7000. im thinkin hes fulla $hit but i dont wanna say for sure till a try it at the track. any opinions?

The Si ecu won't make a huge difference, because the power in a Si comes from the gear ratios in the Si transmission mainly the final drive. You should google Si transmission specs, (not sure if we're allowed to post links to other websites. respecting the rules and all)

i think the ls ecu would out perform the si ecu considering that the ls ecu probably has a way different fuel map geared towards the 1.8 liter engine.
