power antenna

i hav a 1997 acura integra, how do i get the antenna to stop going up and down?? is there a fuse to take out?? wut is it????? i don't care if that means the radio doesn't work,, the antenna looks ugly..thanks

just cut power to it, u may need to unplug it from the back of ur stereo

at the base of the antenna inside the trunk behind the covers you will find the motor for it, there will be one thick black wire which is the radio feed, there will be a couple small wires too, the power wires, trace them till you find a plug, unplug it when the antenna is in the position you want. if you want to get technical, splice a switch into the power wire so it cant move unless you want it to, run the switch to your dash.
