problems with swap.

hey guys,
i recently did a swap from my blown 15. d15b to a 1.6 d16z6. I did not change over the wiring harness and ecu. Lately my car has been surging on the idle. I took it to midas and they did a full vaccuum line check, and still its surging. Midas called Honda here in London and the honda guy said right away without hesatation that it is the harness from my 1.5 and also the ecu.

is this true? can it be the harness or ecu? he checked the icav and its clean and works fine. gimme a suggestion if you think its the harness and ecu..i didnt think it would be that since the car ran fine the first few days after the swap.

neither the ecu or the harness should be the cause of the idle surge. Check back with the post i just replied in your other post and please try and keep your topics in one post. I am not 100% if that ecu unchipped is best for the d15 as i am not sure what stock ecus guys like to run. I hardly doubt it is the ecm though so i would look elsewhere first aka what i recommended in the other post.
