skunk 2 cat back exhaust?

i have just bought a skunk2 cat-back exhaust and i was wondering if it was legal in the state of Maryland cause cops are starting to pay allot more attention to me and i am not speeding.thanks

technically if it is louder than stock they can give you a hard time, but usually they dont bother unless they get you for speeding
