turbo has lag, supercharger has instant power. if u want big power gains ur going to have to to go turbo n build the internals. but other that that, i depends on what kind of a sound you prefer.
superchargers make a whine noise, while turbos have a spool sound when it spools up
so, you gotta ask yourself first, what kind of bullshit are you refering to?

with a SC, it takes power to make power. turbo's use exhaust gases, you're only going to lag if you don't use the right set up.
sound should not be a factor in deciding weather you want turbo or SC.

Boost is the way to go. Obviously people will have their own preferences. It all depends what your power goals are. I have a STOCK gsr B18c1 with an 18g bolt-on greddy kit. on 8-9 psi the thing was at 289 WHP and ran beautifully until i sold the car. My buddy had a 2001 gsr with a jackson racing supercharger kit upgraded pulley so he can run more boost and i still raped him all the time.
Ps. a little turbo lag can help with you launch when drag racing unlike a supercharger where u have instant power.
Its all about the correct sizing.

NA is best.... but Boosted is better.
Either is a good option... but it all depends on how much you want to spend.
just a little = Super, maybe a lot = Turbo
Why so?... Supercharging, with a trusted manufacturer is easier to deal with, and less maintenance.
If you go super, keep with a centrifugal design like vortech or procharger. Better suited for high revving, top end power. Work very well with stock motors
Turbo's are great too, and yes a well thought out setup, will have little to no lag, if mid-range power is what your looking for....
If chasing top-end power, better welcome some turbo lag.
& looking for more than 11 psi, gonna have to crack open the motor and reinforce everything.
