lol damn, still can't make up your mind...

The best mounts are something like Hasport or that other company hybrid-(something, i forgot). The Hasport ones cost $600 though... You can get cheaper ones like avid racing mounts for like $400.

Axles... you can get good ones but be prepared to spend $$$$$$$$. Talk to a shop called "Axle Systems".

Just remember if you buy an H you probably will be going through tranny's until shops like Altech perfect their shifter box or similar.

Yo honestly, I think you were asking about this awhile awhile back too. I would say just get a B16 or B18c and call it a day. You are never going to get a reliable 300whp setup for cheap. Like they say, fast cheap reliable. Pick two, the left out option is going to be the opposite. I.e. Cheap+fast doesn't equal reliable.

If you're going to boost FOR SURE, get a d16z6 and call it a day. Yeah, it'll be slow now, but no one's going to be laughing after you boost it. The reason I say this is because d-series engines are cheaper to build than a b-series. Also, parts and even whole engines are dirt cheap. Go ask a shop how much it costs to build (head and block) a d series and b series. A 'z6 with only arp studs made 300whp. Obviously you can't run that everyday on a stock motor without blowing it but you get the idea of it's boost capabilities for the small price. Though, if you want more than roughly 400whp, get a B.

edit: With $3500 you can run around with a boosted d making 200+whp.

And if you go D-series, the only engine worth boosting is the D16Z6 ('92-'95 SI). Although the D16Y8 (EK SI's, EL's) is similar, the 'z6 has a better flowing head.

I was contemplaiting the D boosted...but i personally am a big fan of the B's i love them..i think that a D boosted would be really fun but a B would just suit my needs better..im gonna be building the motor my self...i heard of b16's boosted at 9-10 psi pushing close to 300 whp on a completely stock motor with a good tune so i think if i build the bottom end i can push alot more than 400whp wth a gt30 or something like that...the D sounds good but for some reason the dohc vtec just sounds better lol

That's cool. But I seriously doubt 300whp on a stock b16 bottom end. You should get yourself a B18C. .2 extra litres of displacement. Or like IntegraMark said, LS/V. B16's and hype-r motor's aren't the best choice for boost due to their high compression (built for good stock n/a numbers).

4thgen street rep is low. keep going
Go with the H2B setup. The adapter plate is expensive but worth it in the long run and you can use B mounts.
