Transmission blown or clutch?
My friend downgeared from 5th to 1st - thinking it was 3rd - he forced it in when he was clutched in - once it went into first and still clutched in, he says there was a small sudden noise.
Now the clutch is mad loose and it slowly moves on all gears only if he rev's high - i assumed it was the clutch - it's sitting at the mechanics waiting to be expected. what else could it be?

I would have to say that the clutch is gone out..but ofcourse that my general opinion. hes lucky that be dident blow the motor doing that, but with a burning smell, almost for sure its the clutch.
