What is the V tech for honda indicate?

Just wondering what exactly this is and or does. My guess was something with the valves.

Variable Valve Timing. It regulates the valvs to accomidate for the peak power range.

The vehicles computer is programed to open and close valves at certain times to enhance performance. Other manufactures have the same feature just named different. Toyota uses VVTI. Can think of the other right now.
