2003 Honda civic heater problems?
I have a 2003 Honda civic with automatic and 135,000 comute miles, this car has been serviced regularly from the time it was new and has only been touched by honda dealers, my problem is my heater. When I turn the **** to heat it most of the time blows cold air, but on it's own can turn to hot. I took it into honda and their fix was to change out my thermostat and coolant, they checked out the heater conrtrol and they said that when the **** is turned it opens whatever opens on the heater box so the **** does what it is supposed to do. Well 224.00 later I still have the problem, does anyone have any ideas???

Ask them if they flushed it or just changed the fluid. The line or heater core may be plugged. Normally, when a technician only changes the fluid it's because it's not dirty. Fluid is normally only flushed when it's dirty. Flushing will flush out any particles that would be clogging the system. Your problem sounds like an air pocket in the heater core though. I'd just bring it back to them and tell them that you are not happy about paying a bill that did not fix the problem. If they cant fix it, they shouldn't have charged you... they do have Honda certified people working there, don't they? It shouldnt be difficult to diagnose...
