I'm looking to buy my first car. I found a silver 2005 honda civic lx sedan that i liked, for $13,000, with 31,000 miles. does anybody own one? if so, how do you like it? any major/minor problems with it? Thanks for the help!

civics are naturally good cars. they are very reliable, great resale value and great gas mileage. the only thing is... they are slow. i guess you cant ask too much though since its good on gas...

hmm..if you go to a dealership right now and look at the 2007 honda civic lx (it was redesigned in 2006).. there is a good chance you can find 1 with little or no miles on it for about $5,000 more. I've been doing a lot of research with the civics, as my family owns 1 and is looking into buying another one.. and all of the "newer" used civics are always about 30,000-50,000 more miles and about $5,000 less... We are leaning more towards buying a brand new 1 for a little more money, because that way we will get the dealership warranty and we will be sure that there is no bad history with the car....
