It depends on the how the engine is running...it varies.. it could go up/down..depending on mileage/climate/etc

Should be shown on your old-fashioned term , log book , now referred to as V5 , i think , which will show you exactly CO2 emmissions , because this determines how much your road tax costs. Lower emmissions , lower road tax . Higher emmissions , higher road tax cost . Thats why some of the 4x4 punters have been saying increase to them in road tax is unfair . They cause more pollution , so , here endeth the lesson . Hope this helps , DJC.

Because the CO2 emissions are measured on the EC combined fuel consumption test as part of the whole vehicle type approval process, it depends what car it is in. The type of transmission, the body style, and even the tyre sizes can have an effect.

The amount of CO depends on the exhaust after-treatment, and the ECU programme.

Without knowing exactly what car the engine is fitted to, it is impossible to answer.

It is also possible that this engine was produced before such things were measured, so no figure exists - you might have to fit it to a car, and have that car tested to the EC test cycle.
