Hi i have a 94 del sol si and an aem short ram intake.?

Hi i have a 94 del sol si and an aem short ram intake.?
on the intake pipe there is an inlet that i have the rubber tubing connecting it to the motor. There also are two 1cm holes in diameter that i am not sure if i am suppose to leave them open or if i should cover them up. Please help.
