im looking to buy a car. a honda civic 99' with 1503k miles on it.how reliable is this?will it break down soon?how long does a civic usually last miles-wise?its $4,000 dollars, if it helpsi mean 150,000 miles!

Well I'm not sure where you live but in VA I bought a 95 civic ex 111,000 for 4,500 book 4,900 at the time I sold it later on bought a 94 civic ex for 3,000 with 245,000 miles the book is about 2,700 but it gets 30mpg city and 40mpg highway thewy are great cars and hold there price most will go 300,000 miles with no problem prarts are not much or hard to find.o and the 95 I gave 4,500 for I sold it with 150,000 miles for 3,500 not bad loss with over two years.If the body is good and inside I would give 4,000 but offer 3,500 and you will get it for 3,800 I'm sure.I also still have the 94 and drive it everyday.
