One thing you can do to check how much mpg you honda civic has is probably either call the dealer, the honda companies, or check on the honda website. If you can't find out in either of those ways then im not really sure what you can do. Maybe you should call like rick case honda or something those are one of the honda companies!

the way to tell mpg on ANYTHING is to fill the tank,then set your trip odometer to zero, drive the vehicle enough to have to fill the tank again, the divide miles by gallon hence miles per gallon, so if you traveled 150 miles and used 5 gallons of gas you got 30 mpg, easiest way to tell

when you get gas divide how far you can travel on a tank of gas by how many gallons of gas your car holds . You can do it by a fourth of a tank also if you wish just divide your tanks capacity by 4 and travel until you have burnt a quarter of a tank and see how many miles your odometer. has measured since you first started traveling.
