How to lower my Honda Civic 1 inch by cutting the springs?

I have a 94 Honda civic and I want to lower it about 1 inch, how much would I have to cut off of the springs to do that??

Cutting the springs is not a good way, matter of fact, its dangerous!!

But if you must, measure with a Tape and use a band saw or port-a-band for the best cut.

Dont cut ! ive got a CRX and i was think'n the same just go to pedders and ask its cheap as.
