How much would it cost to replace the front fender on a '96 Honda Civic?

I'm buying a friend's car from him, and the only problem with it is that the fender is dented and broken on the driver's side. Also, the window's sometimes don't go up and down. Approximately how much would you suspect I should save up to fix it?
