i have a 96' honda civc. im buying a body kit today. i do plan to put performance parts in but i want to work on the exterior first. for christmas im getting a magnaflow cat-back exhaust, is that a good brand.

RICE stands for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements.There's also a saying. All show, no go. Work on the muscle under the hood first and then on the exterior. Don't go the way of fart cans, you need "supporting" mods as just a muffler will not yield significant improvement. What I mean is, go with a full exhaust, headers and intake. Even so, you're looking at a decent amount of money for the engine and the car will still only be marginally fast. Then again, it depends on what you're comparing it to as well. You'll take down cars in your own class, but not much else.I would go forced induction. Turbo or supercharger. Or you could get NOS.
