My 96 Civic SI with mileage of about 360K.?

Should i replace it with 00 Civic Dx motor(60K) or just upgrade the SI motor that is in the car but with high mileage? Thanks in advance!

If you're willing to spend as much money as it would cost to put a 2000 Civic DX motor in your car, why not spend a few hundred more and get a rebuilt B16 or B18 and put it in your Civic instead.

It would be a heck of a lot more fun that way and it wouldn't cost much more to swap in a B16 or B18 compared to swapping in a 2000 Civic DX motor. That's what I would do.
