If you're willing to spend as much money as it would cost to put a 2000 Civic DX motor in your car, why not spend a few hundred more and get a rebuilt B16 or B18 and put it in your Civic instead.
It would be a heck of a lot more fun that way and it wouldn't cost much more to swap in a B16 or B18 compared to swapping in a 2000 Civic DX motor. That's what I would do.
