Is the new Honday Civic good in the snow?
Is the new Honday Civic good in the snow?
I'm thinking of getting a new Honda Civic, and I live in a snowy climate. If you have a Civic (current body style,) how does it handle in the snow?
Having driven a new Civic in the snow, I have to disagree with Lance.
As long as you have at least all season radials with 1/2 tread, they go in the snow like crazy. I live on a 15% grade (steep) hill. It is up to the house. The Civic goes up and down the hill just fine, and never dives for the ditch. Put some hydrophilic snow tires on it and it is as good as any SUV in the white stuff.
BTW thats an Si with 270 HP, a LX or EX will go better with the narrower tires.
Cheers! Let it snow!
