So I was thinking about buying a car...?
Considering going with Honda Civic because its a nice vehicle and gets great gas mileage. But Should I buy new or used? Yeah new is a lot of money but Hondas hold value well and people ask a lot for used ones. What do u think?

I know in Aus Honda's are a great car, yes your right you get great fuel ecomony. There will be nothing wrong with buying a second hand Honda, but like always, get a mechanic to have a look at it before you purchase it. Look for service history also you can grab the VIN of the car to check if it has been in any accidents. If you buy new you shouldnt have to worry bout these problems Also Honda's hold their value a lot longer the say the every day cars (Commodore's, falcons)

The Civic is a fine economy car. However, regarding a used one, the seventh generation (2001-2005) is not considered one of their best because they sold out and replaced the excellent double-wishbone suspension with a cheaper strut system. The newest ones (2006+) are again considered to be a very fine economy car but there may not be a lot of used ones available yet. I would go with new or an eighth generation used one if you can find one.
