Supercharger vs turbo?
ok, pretty much, end all, which one will produce more power? i have a 1993 honda civic CX hatchback. currently running the stock engine but looking to get something with more bang in the near future. Whichever one will produce more power, money is not an option right now because i have plenty in the bank. thank you

Turbo is more efficient than sc but there is that turbo lag problem. VW produced the TSI engine with both sc and turbo to get the best of the both worlds. 1.4 liter engine with 175 hp and excellent drivability and durability. The power increase is limited only by the engines own construction characteristics. The conversion is very expensive and can be very problematic. Make sure you have a second car to go around because it might take you months before you get the Honda running properly.

For your car is the stock D engines, turbo would be better, not saying turbos are better but generally they are, superchargers rely on your belt on your engine while turbos rely on exiting exhaust emissions.. But some cars perform better with Superchargers

for a honda go with a turbo...but you will have to do work on the engine because the stock engine wont e able to handle the amount of air going in for very long...if money isnt an option i'd sell your honda and get a used car of like craigslist or something that already has the turbo...it would be the same price as adding one to the honda.
