Re: Civic Engine Swap question
Your info on D15B is incorrect.
The JDM market had the D15B SOHC VTEC motors, they were rated at 130 ps or
about 125 hp, same as the D16Z6. They consist of VX/D15Z1 short blocks with
D16Z6 pistons and head. The D15B cam is also a little more agressive than
the USDM D16Z6, why it has the same output rating.
M.C. Tee, you need to research a bit.

Might wanna look into the Civic Del Sol VTi's
To the orginal poster, your stock EX P28 ECU will run the D15B, but you'd be
better off getting the correct ECU or having yours chipped to D15B specs.

explain this 'legit' seeing no one ever heard of them and can find
absolutely no info on a d15b vtec engine
