Where is your documentation? How does your claim work? If there is

Michelle Steiner claims she knows alot about fraud and hybrid vehicles,
here you go:

*** Some companies just turn an alternator into a DC motor and
call their vehicle a hybrid.
Ted is right, ask yourself how often do you brake any way? 5% of your
whole trip? That's why you don't gain much from your heavy batteries. I
take it Michelle works for a car dealer.

Perhaps, but Toyota isn't one of them.

And yet again, you show that you don't know anything about hybrid
technology.
By the way, "Ted" had no chance in hell of winning that bogus law suit,
as clearly explained at the URL you so kindly provided:
We scoff a bit because Honda doesnšt set the figures on the sticker,
the Environmental Protection Agency does.. Wešre no legal experts,
but we donšt understand how an automaker can be at fault for being
forced to put EPA figures on a sticker. The EPA also admitted that
the tests that led to 2007 and earlier figures were not accurate and
instituted new tests, resulting in lower mileage figures.
Mileage also varies due to driver habits, especially with hybrids.
Automotive journalists can tell you that driving a car at its limits
for a week wonšt return the normal day-to-day commute numbers that
owners experience.
> I take it Michelle works for a car dealer.
Wrong again.

Um, she doesn't now nor has she ever. Anyway, do you think it's good

Every time you post here, you damage your reputation, if that's even

Not around the world, but around English speaking people!
Sorry Mike you feel that way but who started first? I was always nice with
you guys in the beginning. She calls me fraud like someone accusing your
sister/mother of being a prostitute without knowing their backgrounds.
My company hires foreigners, we are not racious, and we're not picky about
little poor English. You guys again and again define good English = sign of
intelligence. Is that wrong!! I learned tehcnologies 20-yrs before my
english. Then she goes on claiming her 1-ton hybrid car safer than my
2-ton car. Why can't I express my view back ? She misleads people, some
people could actually believe her.
I hope you won't find the following statement antagonizing the world:
Why would Honda think that I'd want a hybrid that gets worse gas mileage
then some normal cars? ...

What normal cars get better gas mileage than the Insight? The morons on
that site are trying to compare their own mileage with the Insight's EPA
estimated mileage, and that's an invalid comparison. Further, the Yaris
and the Insight are different classes of cars, further making the
comparison invalid.
Oh, and I'm a Prius owner, and I doubt that I'd ever buy an Insight.

aren't pissed off by your posts?

I don't know what you're babbling about. I see that you're crossposting
unsolicited commercial material to three newsgroups, including the one
I'm subscribed to. That in itself is already enough to **** people off.
Are you really unaware that spamming does that?
Then I see you insulting hybrid car owners in general, and you're doing
that in alt.autos.toyota.prius, which, you seem too stupid to realize,
is a group specifically about the Toyota Prius, with is [BIG SURPRISE!]
A HYBRID CAR.
All the newsgroups you're posting this crap to are carried on servers
worldwide, so again I'll ask:

I wasn't asking on your behalf. I thought he might speak one of my

If you go here:
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/sbs.htm
you can look up EPA and actual user mpg for most cars. Look at 2008
models to get a good population of real owners' fuel economy
experiences. The most efficient cars are:
2008 Model EPA city/hwy/comb. Owner mpg (# owners)
Prius 48/45/46 46.2 (104)
Civic Hybrid 40/45/42 45.7 (49)
Smart For2 33/41/36 38.5 (40)
So what have we learned?
1. The top hybrids both get significantly better mileage than the
teeny tiny Smart car, and way better than any other gas or diesel car
on the market.
2. The top hybrids both beat their EPA overall estimates, by a pretty
big margin in the case of the Honda.
3. GasSaver is a lying sack of . No, wait. We already knew that.
