Knocking sound with clutch in - replaced throw out bearing and still there
I'm looking for advice on the repair of my 2000 Accord LX. When the clutch
is depressed there is a knocking sound in the engine. Several knowledgable
people said to replace the throw out bearing and clutch, so that was done last
week - but the old parts were fine and the noise continues. There was sign of
heat on some of the parts.
Does anyone have a suggestion for the next step - other than trade it in and
let the dealer deal with it?
Thanks

Maybe a bad pressure plate?
Or maybe some crank bearings are going bad.
