I bought this at a Tru-Value hardware store. It has an internal electronic switch that controls the pump. It runs for a few seconds and then shuts off. The first time I ran it, it cycled several times and then ran OK. The second time I tried to use it, it cycled on and off, and then stopped altogether. Apparently it is sensitive to voltage. I tried to find tech support at the Wicor and Pentair website - they don't even list this model. Stay away from this pump!
