Problem with air vent noise
I own a 1999 Honda Accord EX (4 doors--4 cyld).
The air vent on the driver's side makes a squekking sound when the car is
moving. When I press on it, it stops making the squekking sound. I asked
the service manager if it could be fixed so it would not make the
squekking sound and he said that it was a problem that I could not be
fixed and I would just have to deal with it unless I wanted to buy a new
car.
How hard is it to replace the vent and if I replaced the vent--would it
make the same squeeking sound? It's the vent that can be adjusted--not
the one on top of the dash board.
Thanks in advance.

Hose it with ArmorAll. Squeeking will stop. Works OK wherever plastic
parts rub on something else, or each other.
