I have a friend that has an Insight and she plans to trade it in on a
Civic Hybrid since she said the Insight don't have enough
power--especially when going up mountains or "grades". She also did not
like the lack of space related to the back seat. It's for these two
reasons that I think that you would like the Civic Hybrid more than you
would like the Insight. Also, you should check out the Toyota Prius.
Toyota made a new model of the Prius in 2004 and it was the Motor Trend
car of the year for 2004. I don't know whether it is more powerful than
the Civic Hybrid. You should test drive both of them.

Re: Thinking of Insight
Where I live in Nebraska, if you have a alternative fuel car they stick it
in your ***, and make you buy a alternative fuel permit, $75 a year.

Re: Thinking of Insight
More evidence that there is no place with more utter incompetence than
the government (except perhaps in the medical profession). Seems from
http://www.evworld.com/view.cfm?sect...ue&newsid=4937 that the
Insight is exempt from the $75 permit, while the Toyota Prius is not.
Hard to see the distinction, as every joule of energy used by either
vehicle comes from plain odd gasoline.
