Your last sentence doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. What did
you mean?

"who", you don't seem to have ever read anything about basic Usenet
ettiquette. Binary postings are typically not allowed on newsgroups
that don't have "binaries" in their names. Some NNTP admins have set
their servers to automatically discard any message with uu-, base64-, or
yy-encoded parts if that message is posted to a non-binary group. I
definitely didn't see the attached binary that started this tirade
because news.individual.net's admin has blocked binaries completely.
YServerMV.
The best solution is as Jacob said--put the JPEG up on your webspace,
post a URL that points to that JPEG in your Usenet article. This saves
time and bandwidth. Remember that many people read Usenet over dialup,
and many people in Europe pay for their Net access by the minute.

Jacob is trying to tell you things about basic nettiquette, and you
insult him? (Right, he could have been a bit more tactful, but then
again, so could *you*.) You should go read
http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html and follow its advice if
you plan on getting good answers from the questions you ask on Usenet.
(If you want to flame people, that's why alt.flame exists.)

I think you should sit down, drink a beer, take a Valium, and not post
again until you can manage to do so without yelling at people. OK?

Uh-oh! Looks like someone left the terminal open at the middle

It misses the whole point that most people do not know they have web
space if they have it, from their ISP. A very large percentage of
those that know they have it choose not to learn how to use it as they
don't see a need for it.
There is a major difference between the spammers andthe occasional
jpeg to explain a problem or fix. Netminders who can't figure it out
are too far into netiquette to listen to. They need to step back and
check whether they are looking at the forrest or the trees.
