Help ! I hosed down the engine bay and now SantaFe is running rough(its been 24 hours).
I had a feeling I should not have done that while the engine was warm.
Ill know better next time. It feels like the engine is constantly
missing...its somewhat smoother at high speed but still not right. Its
especially noticable at low speed and idle . I made sure all vaccuum
hoses are attached, and squirted WD40 in the front Injector wiring
harnnesses as well as on the wires and coil. At night, i ran the
engine to look for cross-firing/grounding spark..but saw none. What
is the most likely cause of the misfire and should i try anything
first before taking it in ? Thanks much. 2002 Santa Fe , 2.7 litre .
