Re: noise from gas tank
To repair properly, you'd need to replace the gas tank if a baffle has
broken loose.
It's possible, however, if the piece is small enough, to pull it out the
fuel pump opening in the top of the tank. There's an access cover for the
fuel pump under the rear seat.

What is the danger to leave as is? Can spark start and blow up the car?
It appear from the sound that one site is loose and other is still
intack creating resonanting/vibrating sound when bang to it.

Right. Sparking would not be an issue. The vapor in the
tank is way, way below the explosive limit. That's why electric
fuel senders (and pumps) can be put in the tank with no worries.

Thank you all for your reply; it is very comforting to have such a
quality support on line.
As I mentioned from sound of it, it is more like musical instrument
resonating - as you suggested one site from baffle is loose, making
metal-to-metal vibrating sound when rapid vehicle change. I will
therefore wait for next wormer day and try to fish it out through fuel
pump opening. (or break of mentioned baffle) If unsuccessful, I will
leave situations to observe further. Gas tank replacement seems
premature at this point.
Thanks again all.
