No, most sensors will go well over 100k, but stuff happens.
Not covered under warranty?

Re: O2 Sensor
I didn't know sensors were covered under warranty? Are they?

Should be covered under the 5 year/60000 mile provisions below
http://www.hyundaiusa.com/global/warranty/warranty.aspx
Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally
installed by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship,
under normal use and maintenance.

Re: O2 Sensor
To my knowledge, O2 sensors are 5/60 only. 8/80 covers ECM, Converter, and
not much else.

Re: O2 Sensor
HyundaiTech once said that O2 Sensors "may" be covered under the 8YR/80,000
emissions warranty. Has anyone had one replaced under warranty between
50-80,000 miles?
Come back HyundaiTech, we need you.

Re: O2 Sensor
As far as the warranty, not sure. However, you can go to
autopartswarehouse.com and find the O2 sensor cheaper (or less expensive)
than buying it at either Hyundai or a local parts house.
