I have found just the opposite. The MXV4 has proven itself
remarkably stable in the rain compared to other tires I have owned.
The problem with them is that they are ridiculously expensive.
Dunlop makes an equivalent tire, with the same hydoplane resistance,
for less than half of the cost.

I can't be sure of the model No. of the tires, but when I bought my '97 Tib,
it came with Michelins. Those tires hydroplaned better than a pair of water
skis. I lived with them 'til they wore out, but you can be sure that I avoid
Michelins when looking for tires.
