I thought it said atleast a year of jail time for 1st offence in the new street racing law. I could be wrong though...:dunno:

Viperoni 04-15-2007 03:08 PM

CANOE -- CNEWS - Canada: Ont., government bill proposes stiffer penalties for street racers

"The legislation, which increases fines for street racers up to $10,000 - making it the highest penalty in Canada - and allows police to automatically seize their cars for up to a week"

No jail time in Ontario, anyhow.

Uch, the shitbox is up on stands, isnt it? :P

lowbalt 04-15-2007 03:38 PM

yeah my bad lol, it only says you can lose you license (which to me is just as worse as jail)

(Applies only if an offender has two convictions where someone was injured or killed as a result of street racing, and at least one of these offences caused a death .)

Criminal Negligence causing Bodily Harm: 2 to 10 years

So, you have a Saturn and he has a Pontiac, but he's a ricer???:dunno: And you also think he's stupid for trying to race you?, why, you're both in 15-16 second cars at best, so why are you complaining about him?

Anti-Rice 04-15-2007 03:59 PM

I think a fair race would be your saturn wagon against my topaz...

Let me know when your heading up to cayuga, if I'm ready I'll head up with you

-Mike

judgez24 04-15-2007 04:04 PM

uh his wagon is actually pretty cool for what it is, a potential sleeper if he lets me help him.

rudy my car drove onto the trailor, off of it, and into storage last year. itll be a repeat to bring it hom in a week. i have no first gear, thats my problem right now, tbu aside from that the car is mobile and i can drive it :D

its last year it sat on jack stands, lol

I know it is a different platform and it seems to work, and actually my car and his should be a good run.

Rudy, spray that piece of tupperware

Lowbalt, those are some stiff sentences. Thanks for posting that.

PonyRyd, his car is high 16's at best, my wagon's not in the same shape as it was last year. I only raced him a second time because he did a ricer blowby and put on his 4 ways acting like he won.

Mike, NA for NA you and me would be a pretty cool race actually, you got the power, but don't have the tire for it with those Proxes 4's that you had last year ;)
I dont wanna get addicted to the bottle, that's probably why I've never sprayed anything yet :P

Uch, it's got some potential, but my wallet doesnt haha. I just wanna crack the 14's this year and do some roadcourse and autocrossing. Have some fun with the thing :)
And launching in 2nd should keep your wheelspin down ;)

Mean98Neon 04-15-2007 10:28 PM

u live in brampton... is ur saturn wagon dark blue or black with tints and steelies???????

Viperoni 04-15-2007 10:41 PM

Mean98Neon 04-15-2007 10:46 PM
