Thursday night a 96 v6 mustang pulls next to me, 2 guys in it my age, they nod I rev, they laugh, we take off, i win :D I love how those mustang owners think they are so fast bc it says mustang, and in reality they are only 150hp, weigh a lot and run stock 17-18s. :slomo:

just a question.... but isnt cross drilled rotors not recommended as much for track work? slotted is always the way to go because there's much less chance of cracking... that said... ive only heard about that on crappy discs...

depends on the quality rotor. cheap ebay ones will. slotted has a slightly less chance of cracking but drilled will only crack if you abouse them. but im sure blows_dick or whatever his name is will disagree.

actually a stock v6 mustang is a mid 16 to, at best, low 16 sec car.

Slots and Drilled IMO are not as good as a quality set of blanks. Slots if they warp will kill ur pads and Drilled will crack if they are low end. I just use them cause I got them with the BBK. If I had my choice I would use OEM Rotors.

For cooling they don't really do much, They are essentially there to realease the gasses, But since most new pads have a slot in them this is not really needed anymore unless ur using Race spec pads

I have a mustang, it should be able to beat a Z24.
