old cars are anything but tanks. to put things into perspective; my dad has a 1947 pontiac in the garage. I'm 6'1 and can sit in the back with my legs stretched out straight and not hit the front seat with the soles of my feet. that car weighs less than your average family sedan these days and its like 20 feet long (big guess). my own '84 Z/28 weighs less than 2900 lbs, less than a new civic. airbags, computers, abs, power life. it all ads incredible amounts of weight. unfortunately the smog era was a sad time. small block chevy's with the potential to put out over 400hp easily n/a we're struggling to put out 150-200hp.

exactly what i said....dont know why skyline is so proud he beat a smogger camaro...
