Eagle Talon Vs 996 Turbo
#77
How many times have I seen this same debate. I used to be into DSMs and back in the 90s it was cool to wind out the car and really surprise high dollar cars and proven domestics...now its as old and stale as Oprahs douche.
But exotics have stepped it up: M5=500hp, SL65=604hp, RS4= 420hp, 997T=480hp
Fact is, when you have made it and have the cash you trade up. For something with some style, luxury and balanced performance. As if some stock broker is going to pull up to the country club in a Talon with a big 16G, gutted interior, no cat and solid motor mounts...don't be silly
I will trade the Skyline in for something upmarket in the future, the noise, the fumes and the stiffy suspension wears you down.

Well yeah point taken... SL65 is pretty exotic bro, you don't see many of those especially like the Renntech version I'm testing next week that has 750ft lbs!
Definition of "exotic" is getting blurry anyway since they are all owned by companies that also make econoboxes on assembly lines: Fiat>Ferrari&Maserati Audi>Lamborghini VW>Bugatti&Bentley Ford>Aston Martin...I was pointing out the avg. high-end cars aren't complacent with 400hp anymore. They are tuning these things to roast heavily modified cars, I think was a response to the tuning craze and say your avg 911 consumer saying I got pwned by a DSM wtf?
