actually 3.8's went into camaros in the latter part of '95

Yea, my '96 had the 3.8L with the older style interior.

As far as you beating the Viper....I don't know, aren't the Vipers a lighter-weight car?

They weigh almost the same as ours, I believe. I just think it having a 10-cylinder and you having less hp, etc, would cuase you to loose.

well we dropped the heads, upper and lower intake, flywheel....etc off at the the shop thats putting the whole thing together last friday so the car should be on the road possibly this weekend

Well, i spoke with him yesterday, and it turns out he's never run the car against anything, and only raced one or two other cars with his old vette. so i have experience on my side, but he also has exhaust and intake on the viper, which he said gives him another 50 hp, so total is 450. I'm getting worried guys...lol Well, I'm gonna just jave to crank up the juice, maybe a 175 shot. that should total me around 525 flywheel. well...we'll see. wish me luck I'm gunning for the 2nd week of may to do the race, so stay tuned.
