hey guys,
i just got a 95 Z-28, i was wonder how i would do against a 95 Mustang GT. Considering all i have is exhaust. My buddy has a 95 Mustang GT, stock, with a auto. I believe that my 5.7 liter V-8 should be able to show up his 5.0 liter stang.

I have a 96 GT 5 sp. and it is a turd to my Z/28. Its the 4v Mustangs that move alot better.

I think you would smoke him... My friend has a 94 mustang GT 5.0 with pullies, intake, exhaust (h-pipe w/ no cats ravin mufflers), custom timing, and its an auto, we went from a dead stop and we were even until he hit his 4th gear then he started pulling me, and we also went from about 55-60 and we stayed dead even... and mine is just a v6 auto with a CAI, and exhaust. You never know...

when SLPowerZ had his v6 camaro, and mine was bone stock with the paper filter, I pulled real hard on him right off the line, and continued pulling, there was no 4th gear, and me STARTING to pull away. And The 3.8s, I know that they are supposed to be that much faster, but I've run a few of those, and pulled almost as hard. It is a good 3+ cars in less than a quarter mile. So either your man in the stang can't drive, the stang is tired, or its bs, because I was running 14.6s at 95mph, w/ basically those same mods as your buddy.
