NOW where to begin, well first I dont feel like having a 20 year old car, with no power options, and no creature comforts. I'm a huge fan of a great looking interior,A/C, heated leather seats etc... and in your lil stang you have NONE of the above. And a stock RSX pulls abetter time than a 15 but you would not have any clue about that because your face is most likely stuck in a mustang mag all day to know any better.

NOW, you claim that a newer 600 is not fast? have you ever been on a bike besides the lil tricycle that you mom only lets you ride when you have you big red helmet on ? NO, because if you ever had been on a bike and had it past 10K you would know that your statement is just retarded. NOW when you launch a bike from a roll it's MUCH easier to keep the wheel planted by shifting more weight to the front, IF you do this from a dig 1 of 2 things will happen. 1 it will still over power you and loop you, OR you will lose too much traction on the rear wheel and your going to slide out. TRY riding a bike and launching one before you comment on it.

GREAT, there are many 10 second V* big blocks around WOW thats wonderful, see you just keep missing the mark. For a 4 banger to make the power to run in the 10,9,8's it's a HUGE deal BECAUSE of the power per liter, you might not want to respect that and I dont expect you to because thats WAY too much for you to wrap your head around. NOW your sitting here with a car that runs at best mid11's with no power options, no A/C and I'm going to bet when you ran that time you had spray and no interior........ SOOOO that would make your big bad stang a 13-14 second car with an interior and no spray.... NOW how many times are you going to go back to the " i dont have anything" crap?... actually i havent picked up a mustang mag in about 3 years. i purposefully chose to buy an optionless car for weight savings. i do intend to road race and drag race he car and as any one knows, power to weight is where its at. a stripped down version like mine is also harder to come by, but a fox body coupe with no options is the ligthest mustang you can buy, and thats what i did

sure the s2k has the most hp per liter but essentially that comparison is stupid. you need to look at the overall power levels they make. look at the new zr1. 640 hp, supercharged and i cant remember the exact displacement but its just over 6 liters.

yes ive been on bikes, yes ive been on some quick ones, but in reality a 600 is just a glorified starter bike. a modded car can take it, its when you get into the 750 and bigger range that you start needing some big power. you cant deny that. a 600 isnt gods gift to bike owners, especially from a roll.

for the 4 banger comment, i think you missed somethign i said earlier, i used to own a 4 banger. a 97 cavalier. the motor was compeltely built, had 8400 into it. car was turbocharged, ran meth injection, an msd box, a short geared tranny, lightened flywheel, stage 4 spec clutch, lots of suspension work, etc etc etc. that car isnt here anymore, the motor popped when the oil pump failed. but that motor was built to make 600 hp and i had everything to support that power i just became unlucky with the oil pump, which was an aftermarket unit and theres not a ****en thing i can do to recoop a cent of that motor. anyways, im a die hard 4 banger guy, if i could go back in time and still own my cavalier i would. the car was very fast. made a load of power and fisted alot of cars and as i stated before hung some older 600 cc bikes that i came across. and that wasnt even at the cars full potential. that was 13-14 psi on a motor that would withstand 30. again she was very fast and handled like a dream compared to the stang. and stopped on a dime where as the stang doesnt. but thats gonna change eventually as upgrades are in my future. so dont think im a v8 meat head. the stang is fun to pick on cars with but i loved the shock factor of the cav pumping things it shouldnt. trans ams, vettes, higher end bmw's.

as for shannonville, its too far of a trip for me to make. tmp is more feasable but even then i need to etest the car to sticker it and thats not happening this year, not with the new temp plate they have going on and the car going away to storage in the next month, its not worth the money for a sticker. but ill gladly meet you at tmp in the new year and we can get some passes in.

Yeah you always get those guys that know it all, some due but 99.9% of them don't, then you have the ones that do nothing but read about it, never put a penny into a car, and thinks they know all the answers.
Another thing is I was going to pull out my motor to freshin it up for next year, after doing a leak down on it, the motor is not much different from when it was new, and that was 2 years ago, two trips to the dyno and 182 passes on it, and its a 8 sec car, let see some import do that.
So i will be taking this motor another season, before I build my 7 sec motor next year. The money you guys spend on your imports, fixing them you could have had a car like mine.

hey ernie i know....i dont know why i bothered responding to his stupidity in the first place...just kills me i guess when people bash domestics for the stupidest reasons out of knowwhere....i have no problem with imports, ya like what ya like- just dont go talkin for no reason about other cars...and yea i figured half the guys on here just talk about racing....i do plan on going to the track atleast once this upcoming summer when i get all the bugs worked out after reassembly, but i doubt this guy even knows how to get there lol....either way im done replying to him
