this happened last september on princess street and the bath road intersection, i rolled up to the red light looked to my right and there's this blue srt 10 sitting there and some young guy driving it with this hot chick in the p seat, so i'm thinking i'm gonna get killed if something happenes i rev the maro and the guy in the viper just sat there didn't even look at me i reved the car some more this time he look's over at me and laugh's well i just wanted to hear the viper see him pull away i know i'm going to get smoked so i say hey buddy your old lady should be riding in a real car well that did it he looked back and said let's see what that john deer can do so i'm thinking sweet it's on where sitting there reving the car's i put it in first and was waiting for the light , it hit green and we both pull away side bye side i hit second and just slamming the gears he started to pull away and all i can hear is the power from the blue machine and my carb screaming i hit 3rd and he's a car length and a half away and pulling hard and i'm slamming the gears hit 4th then 5th and catch up to him bye this time we went through a set of lights then i go in 5th catching up and catching up fast get my front bumber to is his *** i het 6th and i'm passing this car my car is screaming everything kicked in and was working perfect make a long story short i passed the viper and kept going about another 100 feet and then starting to down shift and the viper pulled up beside me and gave me the thumps up this all happened around 3-4am something like that i pulled in to a local tim hortons and the viper followed and we talked about the cars for a bit so thats my kill story just thought it was sweet a beat a viper and it was a close one too so that was sweet, my other car is a 86 z28, sorry for the novel....

Unless it was his 86 Z28...they came carb'd until 87 and TPI started as an option in 85 with the introduction to the Iroc-Z and was standard on all iroc's from 88+
BUT not only is this car carb'd, its 6-speed?
SOO Unless he stuck an LT1 T-56 in his 86 Z....than he musta converted his 2000 CamAro (not CamEro) to a carb'd, supercharged LT1...cuz since 93, all V8 f-bodys came 6 speed ONLY....i just cant figure out who would be stupid enough to swap out an LS1 for a LT1

Try this....
lesson to learn about that post, don't let someone typ for you that know's nothing about car's, I didn't typ it but i said what to typ and it got messed up some how take it anyway you guy's want i really don't care so here's the deal my lil brother was tryping and got messed up and very bad at that too the car is a 2000 ss z28 it's fuel injection and the engine dose say LT1 on the head's sure i know it can be off an LT1 and the engine can be an LS1 but the guy i bought it off built the engine himself as he baught the car with out one as the owner befor him blow it and was told that was a 6 speed LT1 and yeah i don't know much myself when it comes to car's but i do know this it's a fast one at least i think so it smoke's my uncle's 04 vette and yes i own another Camaro it's a 1986 z28 and it has a carb must be where he got messed up i did say put my other camaro down but i can't see how he was ed up in the story about the carb, not a big deal to me and for who ever was saying about it should be a 5 speed the 2000 is a 6 speed thats how it is set up and for more ppl to ask about my post the 86 is an american car and it's a 4 speed so enjoy

yes i have a lt1 in my 2000 z get over it and for you s that cant see it that lt1 come in a 2000 with a 6 speed standard check this site out www.autotrader.com my 86 z is a 4 speed it's only got a 350 in it 4 speed standard from the states how hard is it too see this i guess having these cars makes some ppl up tight yeah i have two supercharged honda killers get over it my 86 was orded from the states from a acaution and the 2000 was bulit bye a personal bulider who has been featured in car and driver, car tunner and many other mag's
